Hobart HS Series Heavy-Duty Slicer for Restaurants and Foodservice
Exceeds Expectations with Every Slice
The HS Series Slicer makes light work of the heaviest-duty slicing. With their precision, easy of use and cleaning, and legendary Hobart durability and reliability, SH Series slicers support food retail and foodservice operations across the country.
A patented composite knife that delivers long-lasting performance. The HS Series Slicer has a 13" CleanCut™ stainless steel knife with a stellite-alloy edge. It stays sharper longer, giving you unparalleled precision. Using alloy allows creation of a thin-edge design, so you get improved yield and reduced cost of ownership. In fact, the CleanCut knife coupled with the Borazon® sharpening stones and a lifetime warranty, ensures it will outlast other knives on the market. The sharpener is mounted on the HS Series slicer and is easy to operate while keeping the knife edge shielded.
The HS Series product tray is designed to enhance the quality of each slice while working together with the removable, rear-mounted, meat-grip assembly to ensure secure product placement. Machined grooves on the gauge plate and knife cover ensure smooth and even strokes, reduced drag, heightened precision and improved slice performance. For added precision, the HS Series automatic models are equipped with three stroke lengths and four stroke speeds to handle a wide variety of products. The automatic models now also come with a seamless fence to secure the product during automatic operation.
Easy to Clean
The patented removable ring-guard cover prevents debris buildup on cutting surfaces. The exclusive tilting, removable carriage system and rear-mounted, removable meat-grip arm and slide-rod extension allows for thorough cleaning and sanitation. In addition to these features, the HS Series boasts:
No-drip gauge plate, designed to direct juices away
Fasteners that meet sanitation needs
Warewash-safe knife enclosed within the exclusive knife-removal tool, so water reaches both sides of the knife during cleaning
The Hobart-exclusive zero knife exposure keeps operators from inadvertently touching the blade during the sharpening and cleaning process. An optional knife-removal feature on select models includes a patented knife-removal tool, which enhances cleaning and ensures that blade edges are completely protected. HS Series anodized models also come with six unique features including gauge plate and carriage-system interlocks.
