Position: Design Administrator

TriMark Strategic, the Southern region of TriMark USA, offers foodservice operators a new level of service by combining the hands-on support and local market knowledge of a strong, regional supplier with the purchasing strength, industry expertise, and delivery capabilities of a national company.

The Design Administrator is responsible creating and maintaining data models for the design team. The Design Administrator acts as a liaison between the design services department and the rest of the Company. This position is also responsible for administrative duties which ensure communication is smooth, timely, and aligns with the expectations of the rest of the Company. The admin will also be responsible for reception duties for a small office.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Setup systems and assist in designer project tracking
  • Assist and manage design billed hours in conjunction with Controller 
  • Create analysis reports in Power BI for design team billed hours, and assist other areas of the organization with analysis reports
  • Create visualizations for leadership team based on analysis findings
  • Assist Designers with gathering materials for customer meetings and office needs
  • Track orders for projects, including calling shipping companies and manufacturers when needed
  • Answer calls from customers and answering basic questions and redirect calls accordingly
  • Review schedules, prioritize tasks for all designers
  • Assist in research, ordering, receiving, and recording of all needed materials for office
  • Monitor project planning and design status to report findings, recommendations, and updates

  • Ability to travel when needed
Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of Administrator experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Adobe Suite, Smartsheet and other analytical program knowledge preferred.
  • General knowledge of Information Technology systems and Communication tools
  • Solid database and data analyst skills required
  • Experience in Power BI, SQL, or Tableau preferred
