Position: Accountant II - Duluth, GA

Position Summary/ Objective
The Accountant II is responsible for providing planning, integration, and analysis on short-term and occasionally long-term direction of competitive product analysis. This role is also responsible for communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Bank access money manager (Citizens) and bank statements (Wells Fargo)
  • Monthly bank reconciliations monthly
  • Month end special reports for bank reconciliations
  • Daily banking activities (Wells Fargo & RBS Citizens)
  • Daily Wires, ACH, cash transfer, daily master account activity
  • Cash Spreadsheets (intercompany)
  • EOM Cash Spreadsheet from TriMark
  • Reconcile cash transfer from Intercompany spreadsheet and communicate any variances
  • SEI- TX Gross Margin Analysis monthly – Detailed analysis that requires reviewing individual Purchase order and Sales order to determine revenue and costs match monthly
  • Upload Positive Pay Account Payable files to RBS Citizens Bank
  • Daily clearing of Citizens checks in Navision
  • EOM NJPA rebate accrual entries into Navision
  • Responsible for monthly account reconciliations in Navision ERP system Identify account variances, and recommend corrective action
  • Identify account variances, and recommend corrective action

  • May be required to work weekends and work from home when applicable
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • One to three years of working in a decision support accounting function
  • Experience in a multi-location environment preferred
  • Proficient computer skills in the operation and functioning of all programs used by the organization, including advanced skills in MS Office Suite, and the ability to quickly learn and utilize company enterprise software
