Position: Purchasing Agent

The Purchasing Agent is the critical team member that supporting smallwares purchasing and inventory management for TriMark’s valued customers and internal clients. 

Essential functions for this role include…

  • Establish strong working knowledge of vendor product and service.
  • Review and assure completeness, authorization and accuracy of requisitions
  • Assure correct supplies are received by working effectively with Receiving Department.
  • Process and receive purchase orders for specialty items
  • Communicate availability of products
  • Interface with all departments and resolves problems and issues with purchased items
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong computer skills
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong desire to learn new systems
  • Flexible and prefers a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced excel skills are a plus!
Education & Experience
  • 2-5 years in supply chain, business administration of finance environment preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or applicable experience
