Design Assistant

BASIC FUNCTION: 
The Design Assistant will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and addressing the service needs of our contract customers.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and maintaining service manual and spec books, handling service calls, expediting orders, coordinating equipment start-ups and demonstrations,  and providing support to the Estimators and Designers/Project Managers when necessary.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Respond to various customer requests in a timely and effective manner ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  2. Provide support to Designer/Project Managers, Estimators and Department Manager.
  3. Creating, printing and sending service manuals and spec books.
  4. Printing and sending shop drawing submittal packages.
  5.  Scheduling and following up on service calls.
  6. Tracking and expediting orders.
  7. Coordinating equipment start-ups and demonstrations.
  8. Assisting Estimators with equipment orders when necessary.
  9. Assisting Designer/Project Managers when necessary.
  10. General administrative duties.
  11. Communicate with all internal departments – Credit, Chain Accounts, Purchasing, Sales, and Warehouse – in a professional manner to ensure customers’ requirements are met and exceeded.
  12. Expected to grow capabilities to perform position with greater efficiency annually. 
  13. Expand their knowledge of other jobs within the organization.
  14. Efficiently complete duties assigned by Manager.

Designer

BASIC FUNCTION: 
The Designer assists and provides drawing support to Designer/Project Managers.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Under the guidance of Designer/Project Manager generate documents/drawings to submit for construction/bidding/installation purposes
  2. Obtain field dimensions when needed
  3. Attend job meetings with Designer/Project Manager when necessary

  5. Assist in specifying and protecting jobs

Distribution Driver

BASIC FUNCTION: 
The Distribution Driver delivers foodservice equipment supplies that are loaded on TriMark SS Kemp trucks in a safe and accurate manner to customers and ensuring that customers are satisfied with the care and attention taken to deliver their products.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.  Sort and load delivery truck (PA Office)
2.  Accurate on time delivery of customer orders
3.  Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete verifying deliveries and turned back in on time
4.  Maintain a clean driving record (work and personal)
5.  Perform a daily safety Inspection of delivery truck noting any damage
6.  Clean truck inside and out daily

Installer

BASIC FUNCTION: 
The Installer delivers, uncrates, assembles and sets and levels in place commercial kitchen equipment at TriMark SS Kemp customers as scheduled.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Unload trucks and safely moving product to limit damage
  2. Setting commercial kitchen equipment in place for connection to be made by contractor
  3. Construction:
    1. Assembly and interconnections of “flight-type” dish machines and components
    2. Walk-in cooler/freezer erection
    3. Hanging exhaust and condensation hoods & install curbs and fans
    4. Hanging/securing of shelving, racking, and other wall or ceiling products (i.e. pot racks, chemical racks, fry cutters, etc)
    5. Assembly and installation of large deck-style ovens and roll-in refrigeration units
    6. Field polishing and welding stainless steal
  4. Reading work orders
  5. Loading tools and equipment and securing items in truck
  6. Daily truck inspections and cleaning
  7. Ensuring installations are properly secured in place

Lead Equipment Installer

BASIC FUNCTION: 
Lead the installation crew that delivers, uncrates, assembles and sets and levels in place commercial kitchen equipment at TriMark SS Kemp customers as scheduled.   Works effectively with general contractors, Project Manager, Executive Management and other support departments to ensure installation is complete and within allocated time.   Serves as a key link with Project Manager and reviews the deliverables with the Project Manager before passing onto client
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Acts as lead installer on job site and helps manage the site activities to ensure the install is completed on time and on budget
  • Bring any concerns to employees, customers, and vendors to the Operations Manager and/or Project Manager
  • Trouble shoot issues with installation, with employees, with customers, and with vendor concerns
  • Load equipment and tools properly on company vehicles for delivery and work in the field
  • Manage the day to day operation of assigned install crew to complete the installation.
  • Ensure employees follow all safety regulations on job sites, while driving, and in the TriMark SS Kemp warehouse.
