As we start to reach a sense of normalcy, we’re getting back to spending time with friends & family. Game-nights, cookouts, and nights spent by the fire are just a few of the things we’ve missed during the pandemic. Perhaps your bartending skills are not what they were pre-pandemic. Not to worry, TriMark is here!

We’ve compiled a list of 6 refreshing summer drink recipes that are sure to please. If you don’t believe us, maybe you just need to try them all?


#1 Coconut Lemon Spritzer – This tropical beverage will have visions of palm trees and warm, white-sand beaches dancing through your head.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ Cup coconut water
  • 1 Lemon sliced
  • Lemon Soda
  • Ice
  • Coconut chips (to garnish)
  • 1 ¼ oz Caribbean Rum

Instructions:

  1. Fill half a glass with ice cubes.
  2. Add the coconut water and lemon slices.
  3. Stir in the rum and lemon soda.
  4. Add coconut chips.
  5. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

#2 Moscow Mule – The Moscow Mule is easy to spot “in the wild” by the distinctive copper mug it is traditionally served in. Not only does the copper mug help to keep the drink cold, Moscow Mule enthusiasts claim the copper also enhances the refreshing flavor of the ginger beer.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ fluid ounces vodka
  • ½ fluid ounce lime juice
  • Ice 
  • ½ cup ginger beer
  • 1 lime wedge for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Pour vodka and lime juice into copper mug; add ice cubes and ginger beer. Stir to combine.
  2. Garnish with lime wedge.


#3 Watermelon Sangria – Is there anything better than a cool slice of watermelon on a warm summer day? Well, maybe this refreshing watermelon sangria!

Swing Tumbler

Ingredients:

  • 12 cups cubed watermelon, divided
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry white wine
  • 1 cup vodka
  • ½ cup triple sec
  • ½ cup simple syrup
  • 1 medium lime, quartered
  • 1 orange, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions:

  1. Place 9 cups of watermelon cubes in a blender; blend on high until very smooth.
  2. Strain juice through a mesh strainer into a large pitcher.
  3. Pour the wine, vodka, triple sec, and simple syrup into the pitcher. Stir to combine.
  4. Mix the remaining 3 cups of watermelon cubes, the lime quarters, orange sections, and blueberries into the sangria.
  5. Chill for 4 hours before serving.


#4 Martini – The preferred drink of James Bond, the Martini may be the most versatile cocktail out there. Whether you like it made with gin or vodka, dry or dirty, a Martini always pairs well with your summer evening meal.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces gin or vodka
  • ½ ounce dry vermouth
  • Ice
  • Olives

Instructions:

  1. Fill a shaker three-fourths full with ice.
  2. Add gin and vermouth; cover and shake.
  3. Strain into a chilled Martini glass.
  4. Garnish with olives.


#5 Spicy Margarita – This zesty beverage is the perfect mix of heat and cool. Add a little spice to your next pool party by serving these margaritas to your guests.

Siesta 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces silver tequila about 3 tablespoons
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons light agave nectar
  • 1/4 to 1/2 jalapeno pepper cut into slices
  • Lime wedges
  • Ice
  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Rim the glass: Pour a thin layer of salt onto a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the top edge of your glass to moisten it, then dip the glass into the salt so that it sticks.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
  3. Fill a small cocktail shaker with additional ice.
  4. Add the tequila, lime juice, orange juice, agave, and jalapeno slices to the shaker.
  5. Tightly close and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  6. Strain into the rimmed glass.
  7. Garnish with lime wedges and additional jalapeno slices.

  • 1 ounce sweet tea vodka
  • 3 ounces fresh-squeezed lemonade, chilled
  • Lemon slices or wedges
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Fill a glass with ice.
  2. Add sweet tea vodka and lemonade.
  3. Stir
  4. Garnish with lemon slice
