On June 21st, The TriMark Innovation Center hosted the 3rd Annual Readable Feast Culinary Book Award Gala. This special occasion celebrated the best in New England culinary writing. Categories included Aesthetic Achievement, Single Subject, Socially Conscious and Lifetime Achievement Honors, among others.

The Innovation Center served as the perfect backdrop for the event. Located in the Innovation and Design Center in Boston’s Seaport District, the space was beautifully lit as dusk turned to evening and the awardees and guests enjoyed a menu created by Chef Lydia Shire and Gourmet Caterers paired with wines from St. Francis Winery & Vineyards.

With book signings, networking and an atmosphere of culinary appreciation, the night was enjoyed by all. A live preparation of crisp roasted pork belly with Sicilian wedding ravioli, shaved fennel and blood orange gastrique by Chef Shire gave the guests an up-close view of an award-winning chef’s process.

All awardees took home a curated gift bag containing a Sitram saucepan, a Boos cutting board, Tablecraft flexible measuring cups, and other kitchen tools, all courtesy of TriMark. Congratulations to all the winners!
