TriMark USA Announces Retirement of West Region Executive Vice President, Kim Gill Rimsza

Mansfield, MA – January 21, 2021 – TriMark USA, LLC the country’s largest provider of design services, equipment, and supplies to the foodservice industry, announced Kim Gill Rimsza’s retirement from TriMark after leading the West Region since 2016 and a long and impactful career in the Foodservice Industry.

Kim began her career directly out of college as a Manufacturer’s Sales Representative for the Hobart Corporation. This was followed by a role as National Account Manager for Groen. She then formed one of the first female Manufacturer’s Rep firms in the US before joining the family company, The Gill Group, which was founded by her father. Two years later she succeeded her father as President and CEO. Under her leadership she grew the Gill Group until its acquisition by TriMark, the largest dealer in the nation, in 2007.

In 2016 she became one of the first EVP’s at TriMark with responsibility for the rapidly growing West Region. During her tenure as EVP she helped expand the region through the acquisitions of R.W. Smith and Chefs’ Toys. The hallmarks of her career at TriMark includes her strong focus on customers, her team as well as aligning the various divisions in the West. Kim has been an inspiring leader to her teams and has taken great pleasure at watching their careers grow.  

Kim has been highly active in our industry, alongside her TriMark responsibilities, and has been an influential part of shaping the Foodservice Industry. Kim served as President of the equipment Buying Group that Gill was a member of from 2004-2005. She was a member of the, Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association (FEDA), where she served on the Board for ten years and was President from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, she served on the Allied Buying Corporation (ABC), Board of Directors twice over the years, most recently as a member of the Executive Committee and Treasurer of the organization.

Commenting on Kim’s retirement, TriMark Chief Executive Officer Marie Ffolkes said, “Over the past year, I have had the pleasure of working closely with Kim to execute against our strategic initiatives in support of our One TriMark goal. Kim has provided excellent leadership for her team and has been an integral part of our path to be the most successful foodservice equipment and supply company in our markets by exceeding our customers’ expectations.” 

Kim will continue with TriMark to ensure a smooth transition until her departure in the middle of February. At the time of her departure, and until a permanent replacement has been named, Karen McCain, Executive Vice President of the South Region will oversee the TriMark Orange County and Retail and Distribution businesses on an interim basis. Karen has been an integral and trusted member of TriMark’s Executive Leadership Team and provided exceptional input and guidance to our regional leadership and operations teams.

Kim and her husband will continue to reside in the Phoenix area and look forward to the opportunity to spend more time with family and friends.
