TriMark United East Creates Innovative Incubator Kitchen in Dorchester, MA
For small to medium-size food entrepreneurs who are not ready to invest in their own production facility, there is CropCircle Kitchen. Located in the former Pearl hot dog factory in Dorchester, MA, this 10,000-sq.-ft. kitchen space was designed by TriMark United East.
CropCircle Kitchen operates a fully equipped, shared use commercial kitchen available for hourly rental, plus a separate commissary kitchen specifically designed for food trucks and contract processing.
The facility gives Boston area food businesses a place to prepare, cook and store products that are sold at local stores, restaurants, and farmer’s markets. The organization also provides technical assistance to businesses about recipe development, permitting, packaging, product sourcing, and distribution, as well as marketing and sales. CropCircle Kitchen works with more than 40 aspiring food producers each year.
