Position: Sr. Director, Enterprise Applications

The Sr. Director - Enterprise Applications is responsible for leading TriMark’s business transformation project which consists of JD Edwards and a suite of other Oracle applications including CRM, CPQ and eCommerce. This role is responsible for implementing, supporting, planning and managing our business solutions for the enterprise. The Sr. Director understands the processes performed by functional business areas and is proficient at leading these functional business areas with business process reengineering and large-scale IT deployment initiatives. The Director will be someone who can thrive in an exceptionally fast paced environment that has equally high expectations of its leaders. They will be someone who can see the “Big Picture”, and who can identify and execute projects and products that have a widespread, business-wide impact.

This strategic role will bridge the technical and business worlds and is accountable for driving the creation of an internal business systems strategy for key business functions and the overall planning, execution and success of systems projects across the company. They will ensure the Enterprise Applications projects/portfolio are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner, incorporates effective change and risk management controls, and is responsible for the management of the demand management and support processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong solutions, application, development and project/portfolio management experience and a general understanding of technical infrastructure. The right candidate will have a track-record of leading initiatives, ability to navigate strategic and tactical challenges, strong business acumen, and capacity to lead several key initiatives in parallel working with large extended and cross functional teams.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provides direct leadership over the implementation of a large business transformation including JDE, OCS, OCPQ, ATG and other 3rd party applications that will support the strategic direction of TriMark
  • Builds and manages relationships with senior leaders throughout the organization; creates cross-functional teams optimized for successful execution
  • Ensures and is accountable for strategic and operational alignment between all critical business systems and their user communities; serves as a link between internal users and customers
  • Builds and executes system roadmaps to support corporate strategy and goals endorsed by stakeholders
  • Leads team to define, document and standardize business processes within the new systems deployment
  • Works with business to prioritize user requirements and functional requirements
  • Identifies tasks and interrelationships to evaluate functional and cross-functional requirements
  • Researches existing systems and procedures and make changes where necessary
  • Recommends solutions to identified problems
  • Participates in cross-functional, cross- discipline project teams to better leverage the ERP system
  • Supports the ERP initiatives in design, development and implementation of plans to translate enterprise information system objectives into functional business systems
  • Identifies gaps and addresses them actively in collaboration with the project team
  • Creates and manages the Enterprise Applications budget and provides input in the administration of related budgets

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology related discipline or equivalent from accredited college or university (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 10 years of IT and business/industry work
  • 7-10 years minimum implementation experience with JD Edwards and other Oracle tools, managing projects with budget of $30+ million spend
  • 3+ years full life cycle JD Edwards ERP implementations
