Position: Business System Analyst (JDE Purchasing)

TriMark USA, LLC. is one of the country's largest providers of design services, equipment and supplies to the foodservice industry. We work closely with our customers, which include national restaurant chains, independent restaurant operators, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, and many other segments, to provide the products and services that will help them operate more efficiently and realize better bottom line results.

We are executing a multi-year program to transition from a diverse set of legacy platforms onto a common ERP architecture along with new CRM, pricing, project management and eCommerce capabilities. The Purchasing Functional Team is seeking an experienced Sr Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to work collaboratively across our business and IT partners to achieve project objectives, milestones and deliverables while ensuring the implementation of high quality solutions. Key areas of focus include the alignment of business processes with the technology solution, conversion of legacy data, system validation, staff development and training.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to assess legacy processes, data and system capabilities to help drive alignment to and adoption of TriMark’s new architecture and practice standards.
  • Partner with business leaders and other IT teams on options to solve business process gaps including eliciting business requirements and providing solution options.
  • Design efficient product enhancements that align with design standards and the IT Product Road Map.
  • Assist with the functional design process for complex solutions.
  • Configure business applications based on business requirements and functional design documents.
  • Partner with peers in the implementation and maintenance of cross-functional and Enterprise solutions.
  • Develop and execute plans for testing and training of the new system.
  • Maintain system documentation and user training material.
  • Partner with support team members to effectively deliver product changes and the transition of post-go-live support activities; provides escalated support assistance as required.
  • Mentor less-experienced analysts within the functional team.
  • Perform root cause analysis of technical issues.
  • Lead the functional design process for complex solutions, conversions and redesign efforts.
  • Lead the mapping efforts for integrations between the core ERP platform and/or additional third-party applications.

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

  • Deep knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One Procurement Management Solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing, demand planning and distribution business processes.
  • Deep exposure to JDE’s integrations between Sales Order Management, Supply Chain and Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Analysis competencies (requirements elicitation and management, business process mapping, data flow modeling, functional specifications, and test scenarios). IIBA or similar certification preferred.
  • Packaged system fit gap and configuration
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. Strong collaborator, communicator and business partner.
  • Excellent analytical ability to quickly gather facts, perform root cause analysis and draw conclusions in collaboration with other team members
  • Skilled at working across diverse constituencies, delivering project tasks in a timely manner and driving issues to conclusion. Solving problems through process AND technology change is key.
  • Adept at anticipating changes and adjusting priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, and fluid environment.
  • Mentoring and coaching skills.

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years working as a business analyst and/or implementation consultant for JDE Enterprise One ERP with an emphasis on Enterprise One Engineering and Distribution Solutions.
  • Deep, hands-on experience working in a project-oriented environment with a preference for purchasing experience in the food service or a related distribution industry.
  • Experience with JDE Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) required
  • Experience with Denovo helpful
  • Experience in the distribution or food service industry a plus.
  • Experience executing the functional components of IT solutions via a structured methodology.
  • Experience with business analysis, quality assurance, and resource management methodologies and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • This position is in Mansfield, MA; this is not a remote position
