Position: Warehouse Associate - Reno, NV
Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the various receiving, organizing, stocking, and shipping within the warehouse.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Physically receive inbound parts from MFG, verifying parts with packing slip and match to Purchase Order and receive into the current computer system software.

Complete Purchase Order receipt process; turn in to accounting for processing.

Segregate identified parts assigned for sales orders for disposition by shipping to customer or placing in “will call” bins.

Place barcode ID labels on parts, place in bags as needed for storage.

Put away parts in locations.

Receive inbound mail and distribute to correct departments.

Utilize FEDEX / UPS shipping system shipping orders to customers, internal shipments for other company facilities.

Box and package outbound orders for shipment using proper scales and procedures.

Maintain location integrity and accuracy.

Perform physical inventory counts for parts cage locations.
-
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Pull needed parts to complete sales orders, transfer orders and “will call” orders.

Retrieve parts from locations for parts counter; sale or transfer to company technicians.

Pull replenishment orders for company technicians.

Utilize the current computer system software to research part information, sales orders and part status.

Use of Microsoft package as needed, (word documents and spread sheets).

Utilize Microsoft Outlook for email purposes.

Shift starting at approximately 8:00 am and ending at 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday (some overtime may be required).

Have professional phone skills in speaking with customers, employees, company technicians and other company facilities.

Maintain accuracy for all functions within this position.

Education & Experience
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
5+ years’ forklift and material handling equipment experience
-
2+ years’ experience in shipping/receiving in a warehouse setting
-
Basic computer skills
