Position: Food Service Equipment Parts Purchaser

TriMark Strategic is a foodservice equipment supplier and installation expert for national chain restaurants and local foodservice operations. We are headquartered in Lewisville, TX with operating facilities nationwide. We are currently seeking a Parts Purchaser for our Tampa, Florida location.

The Parts Purchaser is responsible for assisting the customer or technician by phone, email or in-person with parts sales in accordance with customer needs, parts availability and company cost.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Receive and address inbound emails for parts requests and quotes from customers.
  • Process and order parts from phone/counter orders from customers.
  • Process parts requests from technicians by utilizing the Parts Board.
  • Research parts and information in response to customer/technician requests by utilizing manuals and online sources while obtaining at the lowest price for purchase.
  • Confirm all estimates are accurate and order parts for the estimates.
  • Work closely with vendors in updating discounts and pricing.
  • Work with in-house computer systems consisting of GE and Excel.
  • Work with Customer Service Managers in getting parts to locations in an efficient manner.
  • Create and log RMAs for all parts needing to be returned by either customers or technicians.
  • Extinguish Non-stock items in warehouses before purchasing.
  • Obtain and record tracking for all orders within 24 hours.
  • Participate in yearly inventory as needed
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Follow all department policies and practices

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience in parts sales and purchasing
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Basic commercial refrigeration parts knowledge
