Position: Installation Coordinator

Position Summary/Objective
The Installation Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Installation Manager to assist in keeping the service levels high for the company functions that use Installation Department resources.  This position will also act as the backup for the Installation Manager as needed.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Assist with job and local installation scheduling.
  • Maintain job calendar along with Installation Manager and Job Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Manager on supply routes when necessary.
  • Verify that all job paperwork is complete when turned in.
  • Act as point of contact for Test Kitchen installs and maintenance.
  • Generate job install quotes when necessary.
  • Assist Installation Manager with daily installer assignments.
  • Act as backup for Installation Manager when Installation Manager is out of office.
  • Perform installer duties if necessary in emergency situations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Advanced mechanical skills and ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and O/M manuals
  • Current working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment (i.e. hoods, ice machines, dish machines, steamers, ranges, convection ovens, etc).
  • Basic commercial construction knowledge (i.e. phasing)
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Strong working computer and  mobile devices knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills

Education & Experience
Essential Education:
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and basic codes
Preferred Education:
  • Certification from any trade school
  • Bachelor’s Degree
Essential Experience:
  • General commercial construction experience
  • Mechanical equipment experience
  • Experience working with stainless steel
Preferred Experience:
  • Foodservice industry experience
