Position: Human Resources Business Partner

This position will support divisional Human Resources function for 340+ employees and will support senior leaders with strategic guidance on employment, compensation, employee relations and talent management needs.  The Business Partner will work with corporate Human Resources to implement solutions and corporate wide initiatives. 
 
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Support division leadership in talent management, total rewards and recruitment, selection and processing of new hires
  • Divisional Employee Relations Specialist
  • Conduct new hire orientation/onboarding and exit interviews
  • Process all benefit enrollments, changes and maintain necessary files.  Conduct divisional open enrollment
  • Manage COBRA, Workers Compensation, FMLA and leave of absence requests
  • Divisional HR reporting, including monthly regional dashboard
  • Support divisional training initiatives
  • HR records retention and data base management
  • Support performance appraisal process and merit increase processing
  • Coordinate company events as necessary
  • Back up to Payroll Administrator

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration required, SHRM certification preferred
  • 3+ years related HR and Payroll experience, preferably in ADP environment
  • Knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Solid interviewing and recruiting skills
  • Experience with creating and standardizing job descriptions
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of benefits administration
  • HRIS and payroll processing experience a plus
  • Strong Microsoft office skill set; intermediate Excel required
  • Ability to travel approx. 10%.
