Position: Installer

Lead Installer - TriMark Foodcraft – Winston Salem, NC
Reports to:  Installation Manager
 
Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring successful installation of a full range of commercial kitchen equipment in restaurants and institutional settings.  Works effectively with General Contractor, Project Manager, Executive Management and other support departments.  Serves as a key link between Project Manager and jobsite personnel.
 
 
Essential Functions & Responsibilities Include:
  • Take direction from Installation Manager and/or Project Managers; communicate on job progress and bring any concerns to the Installation Manager and/or Project Manager
  • Ability to load and unload equipment and tools properly for delivery and work in the field
  • Setting commercial kitchen equipment in place for connection to be made by contractor
  • Hanging exhaust hoods, installing curbs and fans
  • Assembly of walk-in coolers and freezers
  • Hanging/securing of shelving, racking, and other wall or ceiling products (i.e. pot racks, chemical racks, etc.)
  • Assembly and installation of large deck-style ovens and roll-in refrigeration units
  • Ability to trouble shoot employee, customer, and vendor concerns.
  • Ensure employees follow all safety regulations on jobsites, while driving, and in the TriMark Foodcraft warehouse
  • Attend required safety and product training
  • Take proper care of all company issued tools and equipment
  • Daily truck inspections and cleaning
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
  • Ensure all work documentation is fully and accurately completed – using mobile electronic devices to record job progress, log hours to correct job, taking pictures of job sites and/or progress
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • 5 or more years’ commercial food service equipment installation experience preferred
  • 2 or more years’ construction site foreman and/or equivalent construction industry experience a plus
  • Proficiency reading blueprints
  • TIG welding; clean and polish welds on stainless steel
  • Proficiency with use of all related equipment and tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail.  Ability to multi-task and stay focused on critical objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Good client management and goodwill building ability
  • Clean driving record required
  • Ability to drive forklift
  • Ability to frequently bend, lift, push, pull and carry in excess of 60 lbs
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with mobile technology including smart phones/tablets
Education:
  • High School diploma or GED.

The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of duties including receiving and processing incoming goods or materials, fill requested orders for shipments, processing outgoing shipments to shipping carriers’ vehicles, and organizing warehouse inventory. Ensuring that all company standards of cleanliness, safety, security and productivity are maintained.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with receiving of goods/materials including verifying delivery against manifest, invoice and examine for damage or areas of concern.
  • Mark incoming stock items with appropriate company product identification label
  • Stock and store items in orderly and accessible manner according to designated slot and bin location
  • Process order requests according to company sales order
  • Pack, seal and affix shipping documents for outgoing orders to all shipping carriers.
  • Organize items to company standards of location and efficient stack handling methods
  • Confer and correspond with internal department to rectify any problems, complaints, or requests such as delays and damages.
  • Cycle count product to record and maintain inventory levels, and report discrepancies to management team
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Treat product with care and concern
  • Train and support new employees as they train as new warehouse personnel.
