Position: Territory Sales Representative

TriMark is the nation's largest food service equipment, supplies and design services company. We are looking to expand our business in northern Virginia . Our ideal candidate resides in this area, is a consistent and self-motivated professional, has experience and contacts in the foodservice industry, works well independently, is and is customer service oriented. Prior sales experience is not a requirement.

SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of a TriMark Adams-Burch Field Sales Representative is to identify prospects and develop new business. You are expected to contact decision makers through cold calls, research and networking, to manage contact information and follow-up data for sales prospects and existing clients, schedule routine visits or meetings with all of your customers, to effectively incorporate technology into your daily routine, and to be a team player supporting all company initiatives and fellow employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Generate revenue by developing new, profitable business.
  • Manage and nurture customer relationships.
  • Prepare and execute sales presentations.
  • Work closely with our various departments (customer service, operations, purchasing, accounting)
  • Attend company events such as sales meetings & training seminars as required.
  • Communicate and provide feedback to management.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the following:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and command of the English language.
  • Must have problem-solving, decision-making, critical-thinking skills.
  • Must be proactive; able to identify problems and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently & multi-task.
  • Proficient with common office software, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma, required. Bachelor’s/College degree (Retail, Marketing, Business Management or equivalent), preferred. Experience in food service preferred. Fluency in 2nd language preferred.

You will be expected to primarily work from your home office when not in the field, and to visit our main office in Landover, MD on a weekly basis.
