TriMark Gill Group Executes Three Dining Concepts for Concordia College

With more than 2,500 students and 200 full-time faculty, it was time for Concordia College to upgrade its dining options. The college reached out to TriMark Gill Group to manage this $2.2 million foodservice project. The project included three components: Anderson Commons: the main student dining hall; The Coffee Stop: a café-style dining area; and Korn Krib: a convenience store area focusing on snacks, beverages and grab-and-go items.

Project Highlights

  • Field verification, material procurement, subcontractor management, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) coordination, and on-site project management
  • Making adjustments for serving counters and countertops due to field conditions; managing installation of pizza oven, display cases, pastry cases, merchandisers, and other focal points
  • Coordinating installation of all back-of-house and front-of-house equipment
“One of the best compliments we get is when a General Contractor, consultant or customer calls us back for more projects,” said Chris Anderson, Senior Estimator for TriMark Gill Group. “It is exciting that this project has not only given the customer something they are proud of, but it’s also led to other opportunities.”
